To whom it may concern,
I am a 49 year old man who was diagnosed with a herniated disc L5, S1. After a lengthy effort to relieve the pain through physical therapy as well as chiropractic, I sought the advice of a surgeon. Unfortunately, I was left with only one option.....surgery.
In my case, I have a very difficult time sitting and getting back up. In my work, I spend much of my day sitting behind a desk. Oftentimes, I have to travel by plane, which had been extremely difficult.
In March 2004, I discovered your System-Loc brace. With an upcoming trip scheduled for out of the country, I was in a big hurry to try it out and didn't want to wait for insurance approval. So I took the chance and purchased it with my own money. It's turned into the best investment I've ever made. As it turned out, my flight took much longer than expected. Plane maintenance as well as flight delays forced us to stay on the airplane an additional four hours longer than it should have. It was a great opportunity to put my new System-Loc to test. I walked off the plane with little to no pain. It was truly great.
I've finally reached a point that I only have to wear my brace a few hours each day, unless, of course, I am playing golf. I wear it constantly during golf, and have had no problems with it at all. I can honestly say that I am confident that the continued use of the brace will keep me from having to go through the risk of surgery.
Thanks again,
Ron Feeley

Dear Sirs:
I am a 52-year-old Semi Driver who had a truck wreck in 1994. My back was severely injured. I had six fractures in my spine and unfortunately they couldn’t operate on it, because where the fractures met, the had fragmented. So it left me with no other option but to take heavy medication such as Darvon and Morphine. It was next to impossible for me to function without these drugs. Since I was fortunate enough to get one of the System-Loc braces, I am now able to get around and drive my own vehicle and walk through the grocery store. And it has reduced my pill intake to the degree that I am able to drive legally for short distances. Many thanks to all at American Professional Bracing.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have been wearing your System-Loc brace since February, 1997. I cannot begin to tell you how the brace has changed my life. I have a medical condition known as FACET SYNDROME. This condition cannot be cured by surgery or any medical treatment. There are procedures that can help RELIEVE the pain, but nothing to eliminate it. Facet Syndrome also gets progressively worse with age. I am 48 years old and not willing to give in to this medical condition. Because of your brace I am able to work and enjoy life again. Prior to getting the System-Loc brace I thought I was going to have to retire due to the extreme pain and immobility. The brace relieved me of a lot of pain and made life more enjoyable. I still wear the brace everyday and cannot imagine life without it. If I did not have this brace to put on every morning my life would be ruined!
AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL BRACING has made a difference in my life!
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:
It is now just a little over a month since I first became acquainted with the System-Loc and I must admit we (the brace and I) have become fast friends.
It is now at the point where I can take it off and put it on by just opening one side. This I can do lying down, sitting, and standing up. When I think of the alternative, a body cast, I shudder. It has actually come to the point where I am more comfortable with it than without it.
An injury such as the one I received is traumatic. Your product has given me more confidence in a complete recovery. Thanks again, American Professional Bracing!
Sincerely,

Dear Perry:
At long last, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the great brace and service I have received from you at American Professional Bracing. After receiving a strong recommendation to buy your product from an orthopedic surgeon, you personally delivered the brace to me several days after I contacted you. From day one, I was able to resume many activities- including commuting and working – that I had to give up after I hurt my back. After using the brace for about two months (17-23 hours per day), I began to limit the use of the brace to about 12 hours each day during the week, and less on weekends.
The amazing thing about the brace – besides its effectiveness in supporting my vertebrae and relieving the pressure on my disk – is the overall level of comfort I have experienced using it. It doesn’t limit turning and bending at all, and after several weeks I sometimes forgot I even had it on.
Though you are the person I associate with American Professional Bracing, it is clear from my phone contacts with other staff, from the service I received, and from the effectiveness of your product, that American Professional Bracing has an unparalleled commitment to quality and to its customers.
I would be happy to be a reference for the quality of American Professional Bracing’s product and service.
Sincerely,
Bruce Biskin

RE: Patient Nikki Stone and the use of the System-Loc LSO as part of an intense rehabilitation effort.
Overview:
Following is a synopsis of the injury and subsequent care that occurred in May of 1996 in which the System-Loc LSO was prescribed as part of a compendium of care for Ms. Nikki Stone.
History:
While practicing at the U.S. Ski Team training center in Park City, Utah, Nikki sustained an injury upon landing after executing a jump. She was diagnosed with a contained herniation of the disc at the L5, S1 joint.
Nikki was sent to the Spine Center under the care of Dr. Charles Bova. Dr. Bova initially a regiment of physical therapy and ordered a System-Loc for her to wear during her waking hours.
Dr. Bova chose the System-Loc based on the unique benefits that are provided from this particular LSO.
Those benefits are as follows:
1. Ambulatory traction, or “unloading” for decreasing symptoms thereby allowing her to participate fully in her exercise program and minimize the use of narcotics for pain control.
2. Stabilization – Holding the spine in “neutral” position, promoting effective healing and staving off further problems in the future.
Conclusion:
Nikki was able to rehabilitate her injury and avoid surgery with this conservative model.
She was allowed to continue to participate and compete as a member of the U.S.
Freestyle Ski Team. She was the Gold Medal winner in her event at the 1998 Winter
Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

Dear Mr. Michalski,
Needless to say, I was thrilled to receive my back brace. I have a very complicated back and it is not operative, so I depend greatly on therapy and my back brace. My therapist, Todd Petty, Utica Therapy and my Dr. Stephen Gawey, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma recommended it, and it has been a life-saver to me. I wear it all day, every day and was very uncomfortable during the time I was without it. I would like very much to have another one to use when I rinse mine or send it to be refurbished. There is no size marked on mine, but it is 40 inches from one end to the other, probably a large. I am a walking testimonial to the relief your brace can provide.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Barbara Berry
